Back in early November, I took a long weekend girls' trip with some friends to New York City. Of course, I made mention of this more than a few times on Facebook, which resulted in a phonecall from an old acquaintance who asked if I would mind meeting her and a few of her girlfriends in the City to take some candids of them. They were celebrating her friend's 40th birthday and this would be her gift to her.
It was a frigid evening in Bryant Park, but I had fun being a fly on the proverbial wall as they gabbed and excitedly chirped about the fun that was to come (dancing!) with the rest of their friends. Listening to them and capturing these little moments in time, I was so excited to be a small part of this woman's milestone birthday.
As for me, I had a wonderful weekend away from reality, spending time with some of my most favorite people in the world. There is something about the camaraderie between girlfriends -- they fill that space in your life that only they can fill. I am so thankful for the close friends I have in my life. At some point, I will get around to posting some pictures of my own trip, but for now... here are the fabulous women I met in NYC.

LOL. THANKS! I must be a pretty rockin' chick! Kidding. But I'm glad to know that I have a kindred spirit in music out there. And thanks also re: H's pics... she was a dream even though Jules has it in her head that she was a pill on the day of her session. Whatever! Such a cutie pie.
