Turnaround Time

I have made a change to my "FAQs" section involving the completion of my clients' discs. If you have not yet had a photo session with me, this will affect you. As of today, the 28th of September, my estimated time for completing fully edited images to your copyright released discs is 3 to 5 weeks, unless other arrangements are made. Please keep this in mind when booking a session with me, especially with Christmas card season looming before us!

If you have already had your photo session prior to today and are awaiting your disc, this does not pertain to you, though it looks like I'm working on closer to 3-4 weeks than 2 at the moment.

When it takes me longer to complete your disc, it is actually a good sign because it means that I am pouring 110% into the editing process. I say this with complete sincerity and honesty. In the same breath, if I finish your disc in a jiffy, it probably means that your pictures were just that easy-breezy to do.

At any rate, thanks for your patience as my business grows and takes shape! God bless.

Princess Alexa Foundation - Touch a Truck Fundraiser | Dallas Event Photographer

I had the privilege of volunteering at a fundraiser for this amazing foundation yesterday. To read about it, please visit: www.princessalexafoundation.org. Their purpose is to collect and provide costumes and dress-up clothes for seriously and terminally ill children who are living in hospitals and hospice care facilities. Imagine the joy that this kind of play can bring to a sick child! Anyway, it was a wonderful day and so many people came out to lend their support. There were all kinds of "trucks" to touch, climb on, and play in: a fire engine, police car, school bus, limo, crane, delivery truck, etc. They even had the actual pick-up truck from the movie "Twilight!" Children and adults all seemed to enjoy the day equally, and I was fortunate enough to catch some of it with my camera. If you feel so compelled, please donate to this very worthy cause. "Happiness is healing." Thanks!

At 35th & 10th | Dallas Family Photographer

Almost a month ago, I got to spend a few hours with my dear friend and her family at their lovely home. She had asked me to take their portraits to mark her 35th birthday and to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

One of the most touching things I have ever heard someone say of her spouse was expressed by this particular friend. She said that when she first met him and he took her hand to shake it, she heard a voice in her head that said, "There he is." And she just knew.

As you can see from these photos, they have much to be thankful for. Their family of five is lovely, both inside and out. Congratulations on your 10 beautiful years together and happy 35th birthday, friend. Much love.

A Ray of Sunshine | Dallas Children's Photographer

About two weeks ago, I met up with this little "Ray" of sunshine at The Red Shed antiques store in Grapevine. They have a lovely, rustic little antique garden in the back and it was the perfect setting to photograph this sweet and fun-loving little girl. I had so much fun capturing her 4th birthday pics and I'm pretty sure she did, too! Here are some shots from our session together.
